PS Mobile integrates with a small footprint database to give your mobile application robust database functionality and is created in C++ to deliver high performance on mobile devices with slow processors or constrained memory.

Considering this trend, mobile applications are often designed to hold large amounts of data, include dozens of pages and perform complex lookups and calculations. MobileDataforce recognized these requirements and architected PointSync Mobile to deliver high-speed performance.

Flexible Framework

Under the hood, PointSync Mobile uses a flexible mobile framework that allows MobileDataforce or your development team to add support for new hardware devices/technologies and user interactions. Out of the box support for many technologies such as barcode scanners, RFID readers, digital cameras and GPS devices is included. Data captured on small devices in the field should be treated with the same respect and care as data stored in an enterprise database. PointSync Mobile ensures enterprise data integrity by bringing the robust data management benefits of enterprise databases, such as referential integrity and security, to small devices. In addition, MobileDataforce's ID Pooling technology solves the problem of adding unique identifiers on disconnected databases.
